Hi Anne! Thanks for your lovely comments! In answer to your question, no, the Rubiks cube boxes aren't edible (would be so cool if they had of been!!!) - they are the favor boxes.  They were filled with little sweets for guests to take home.  They were really easy to make though. Just drew a cube net on the computer, layed a 3x3 grid pattern over the top of each face, filled each face with colour, printed them out, cut them out and folded! Can you get edible paper that would be flexible enough to fold into a cube like that?  I might give it a try if I can find somewhere that could print the design onto edible paper.

Since I have taken an interest in Amy Atlas and dessert bars, I have discovered that resources are extremely limited in this country.  All the cute little sweets and beautiful looking cakes and cookies you guys seem to have do not exist here!!! In fact, no-one even knows what a dessert bar is! At the moment I am making everything myself, but I am in the process of trying to track down chocolate and cake makers that would be prepared to make bespoke items for me.  I have found one company who has just caught on to whoopie pies though -  and they seem to be selling well.  Desserts in this country just aren't appreciated so I am on a one-woman mission to bring the dessert bar to these shores!

I have looked at your photos and I absolutely LOVE them. Your attention to detail and use of pretty tags, ribbons and flowers really brings your tables together.  The black and white desplay looks so stylish and I absolutely love the clean, fresh look you have conveyed on yout tulip table.  Are the long sticks you use edible?

Anyway, thanks again for the comments - and sorry, I have just looked back and appeared to have waffled quite a lot! Take care, Becky x
